Founded by master artist Tamara Caspersz, Lady Ink was born from a lifelong devotion to fine art, wildlife illustration, and anatomical realism. From early beginnings studying visual arts and design to over 12 years of specialized hyperrealism tattooing, our studio has always been built on uncompromising craftsmanship, hygiene, and authentic self-expression.
From your initial concept consultation and custom stencil design to precision tattooing and medical aftercare, we are with you every step of the way. We collaborate closely to ensure your final piece is never just a tattoo, but a living masterpiece of fine art that you will wear with pride for a lifetime.

We aspire to push the boundaries of hyperrealism and fine line tattooing, blending classical fine art training with modern clinical safety to create meaningful, timeless living art on every client who walks through our doors.
To bring our clients' most cherished ideas and personal stories out of their imagination and permanently onto their skin—executed with uncompromising precision, hospital-grade sterilization, and transparent one-on-one collaboration.

Our values are the bedrock of Lady Ink Melbourne. We believe in uncompromising artistic integrity, hospital-grade clinical hygiene, and genuine empathy to craft living fine art that is deeply meaningful, comfortable, and timeless.

Apprentice Tattoo Artist
Mentored by Tamara, Paris has excelled in the tattooing industry, and she thouroughly enjoys Traditional work, but is talented enough to work in all styles.

Specialising in lifelike black & grey portraits, vivid colour wildlife, and intricate fine line designs contoured naturally to your body's anatomy.
Dedicated to photographic tonal depth, smooth grey-wash gradients, and rich saturated pigments formulated to heal crisp and age gracefully.
We enforce rigorous medical-grade sterilization, 100% single-use disposable setups, and certified Q-Switched laser protocols to guarantee complete client safety.
At Lady Ink, we apply medical-grade breathable second-skin film immediately after your session. Leave this film on for 3 to 5 days—it locks in healing enzymes while keeping bacteria out. When removing under warm shower water, gently peel it downwards, wash with fragrance-free antibacterial soap, pat dry with a clean paper towel, and apply a thin layer of recommended tattoo balm.
Yes! The medical second-skin film we apply is waterproof, so you can shower normally. However, avoid letting high-pressure scalding hot water blast directly onto the area, and do not submerge or soak the tattoo in baths, spas, swimming pools, or ocean water for at least 3 weeks while the dermis regenerates.
Proper preparation makes a huge difference in pain tolerance and skin receptivity. Get at least 8 hours of sleep, hydrate heavily 48 hours prior, and eat a hearty, high-protein breakfast before arriving. Wear loose, dark comfortable clothing with easy access to the tattoo placement. Avoid alcohol, aspirin, and excessive caffeine for 24 hours prior. You must be 18+ (valid ID required).
Simply submit your concept, reference images, approximate dimensions (e.g., 15x20cm), and placement via our online booking form. Our artists collaborate directly with you to craft an original piece contoured specifically to your body's muscle flow. If you are reworking an old tattoo, we will also evaluate if 1 or 2 partial laser fading sessions will unlock better design results.
During the initial 2 to 3-week healing phase, strictly avoid direct sun exposure, gym workouts/heavy friction for 48 hours, swimming, and hot tubs. Never pick, peel, or scratch at any flaking skin, as this can pull pigment out of the dermis. Once fully healed, always apply SPF 50+ sunscreen to keep your realism contrast and linework crisp for decades.
